Day1. Bishkek-Ala Archa
Meeting at the airport and then taking you to the hotel in Bishkek. After having lunch and some rest we will take a trip to Ala Archa National Park for the rest of the day. And on the the way back to Bishkek we will take a journey through Chunkurchak Valey in the mountains, where you can see the beautiful landscapes and enjoy a wanderful panorama view fron the hight of 2500m. and make splendid pictures and see the way of Nomads Life an Jailoo.
Day 2. Too Ashu-Suusamir valley-Chichkan Gorge
On the way you will enjoy the view on the valley of Suusamir from the hight of 3350m. of Too Ashu Pass. Waterfall, falling from a height of eight meters, forms a small lake with crystal clear water ice. The path from the road to the waterfall walk takes an hour and is available even novice tourists. It is a good day for photographers. Great view is guaranteed. Overnight at the hotel in Chichkan Gorge.
Day 3. Sary Chelek Lake
Sary-Chelek Biosphere Reserve is included in the UNESCO international network of nature reserves. It is located in the valley and on the slopes Chatkal and At-Oynok ranges. The reserve covers an area of 23.9 sq. km. It was created in 1959 to preserve the flora and fauna of the walnut-fruit forests and alpine landscapes. In the reserve there is a beautiful lake Sary-Chelek, which is the third largest lake in Kyrgyzstan.
Freshwater lake covers an area of about 5 sq. km and has a maximum depth of 246 m. The lake’s name translates as “a yellow bowl.” It is very beautiful in autumn when the trees around become yellow and orange and is reflected from the water surface, they color the lake. In the valley there are also six small lakes and a wide river net.
The location of Sary-Chelek Reserve causes its mild climate: warm summers and winters with little snow. A significant part of the reserve occupy walnut, apple and pear forests. You can find various animals in the reserve. It is a habitat of red deer, fallow deer, porcupine, marten, argali, wild boar, ibex, and 157 different species of birds.
Day 4. Arslanbob
Arslanbob is a small village with population of about 15000 people located at the altitude of 1700 m, in the valley of the same name with the unique walnut and fruit forests.
For many years in the village there has been a tourist base, where travelers can stay. In the center of the village you can see the statue of a lion and a mosque. Arslanbob village is considered as a starting point for hiking and horseback trips along the valley to the walnut and fruit forests. There is also a great chance to go to the waterfall which is 50m. high.
Day 5. Jalal Abad-Kazarman
Kazarman village is located on east part of Jalal-Abad region, 157 km from the city of Jalal-Abad and 220 km from the city of Naryn, near the biggest river in Kyrgyzstan, Naryn River.
It will be a long a hard way along the serpentine passes. Its worth it!
Day 6. Mels Pass-Tash Rabath
The unique monument of the Middle Ages the caravanserai Tash Rabat is located in the valley of Kara-Koyun, 90 km from the town of Naryn and 60 km from the village of At-Bashi.
The building was constructed of stone and lime, and all the material was assembled nearby in the valley. There are several theories and legends about the origin of the architectural complex Tash-Rabat, but most likely it was built in the 15th century and served as a coaching inn for merchants. Along the nearby trade route caravans went from Chuy and Fergana valleys to Kashgar.
The height of Tash-Rabat building is of more than 20 m, and the inside is a labyrinth connecting 31 rooms. On the background of green meadows of the valley the caravanserai looks like a powerful and unapproachable fortress.
Day 7. Naryn – Son Kul Lake
At an altitude of 3016m a.s.l.; 29km long and 18km wide and a maximum depth of 13.2m – it is Kyrgyzstan ‘s second largest lake.The average temperature is about -3.5°C, and in summer it is about 11°C . Winter temperatures can fall as low as -20°C , and there are something like 200 days of snow. In winter is often impossible to reach the plateau.
Spend overnight in yurtcamp near the lakeshore. You will enjoy the wild nature environment and relax on the hight.
Day 8. Kalmak Ashuu Pass – Kochkor – Bokombaevo
On the way to Bokombaevo we will stop in Kochkor vallage to have a lunch and also take part in Shyrdak show. Then continue our trip passing by the Orto Tokoy Lake to Bokombaevo village on Southern shore of Yssik Kul.

Day 9. Fairytale-Barskoon Gorge-Jetty Oguz canyons-Karakol
On the southern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul, about 4 km from the village of Tosor there is an unusual place – Skazka (Fairy Tale) Canyon. The canyon was named due to its bizarre rocky landscape, which for many years has been transformed by wind into fabulous sculptures and formations.
Some formations in “Skazka” have been named for their similarity to well-known objects. For example, one set of ridges in the canyon is named “The Chinese Wall” due to its similarity to the Great Wall of China. You can also find what appear to be statues of a hippopotamus, snake, dragon, sleeping giant and even whole castles. Because the different rocks have amazing colors, the rocky statues not only have unusual shapes, but also magical colors.
is located on the southern shore of Lake Issyk Kul, 80 km far from Karakol. The length of the valley is about 30 km. At the beginning of the gorge grow rare shrubs and steppe grasses. On both slopes of the canyon rise huge Tien-Shan spruce trees. Above 2800 m grow juniper groves. Along the road running through the gorge of Barskoon there are unusual monuments such as the Soviet truck on the platform and a bust of the first cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, vacationing on the southern shore of Issyk Kul after his flight into space.
From the gorge you can see the snowy peaks of the surrounding mountains, the highest and most beautiful ones are the Peak of Panfilov Heroes (4610 m) and the Peak of the World Peace Council (4310 m). Barskoon gorge is famous for its cascading waterfalls. The most picturesque have interesting names: Tears of a Bars, Oldman Beard, Splashes of Champagne and Cup of Manas. Through the gorge runs the road to the Kumtor gold mine, and it is noteworthy that in many small tributaries of the river can be seen the pieces of golden sand shining in the sun.
Picturesque Jeti-Oguz gorge is located 28 kilometers to the south-west of the town of Karakol. Its name is translated from Kyrgyz language means “Seven bulls”. The name is symbolic, because there is a 35 km long wall of seven huge red-brown cliffs resembling ranked furious bulls standing together. In front of the cliffs there are flat mountain slopes, thickly overgrown with grass and pine trees.
Especially romantic look has the rock located at the entrance to the gorge. Jeti-Oguz is also famous for its hot springs with water enriched with radon and hydrogen sulfide. In the place they hit out of the ground, at the altitude of 2200 m, there is a resort.
After viewing jetti oguz canyons we will go further to the waterfall of Brides Tears, whis is a very wanderfull place to feel the power of nature.

Day 10. Karakol-Altyn Arashan-Karakol
10 km to the east of the town of Karakol, in the valley of Arashan River the gorge Altyn-Arashan is situated. In the lower part of the river there is the village Ak-Suu (old name Teploklyuchenka), immediately followed by the gorge, which expanding opens before the eyes of the traveler. One slope of the gorge is overgrown with dense spruce forest, and the other is covered with a colorful carpet of mountain herbs, flowers, berries and low shrubs. to this place we will take a tour by Russian military jeep.
There is a great chance to take a swim a the hot springs.
Day 11. Chong Kyzyl Suu-Cholpon Ata-Chong Kemin National Park
Chong-Ak-Suu Gorge is located 60 km to the west of the town of Karakol. Its name “the big red water” the gorge got because water in a river at the bottom of it seems to be red.
The reason for this phenomenon is red clay coloring the water. The gorge is about 40 km long. On the slopes of the gorge there are scenic green meadows,at the altitude of 2000 m grows fir forest, where can be found a lot of mushrooms and berries.
Cholpon-Ata is the main resort town of Issyk-Kul region. The town’s population is quite small: about 11 thousand people, but the presence of a large number of tourist sites attracts here tens of thousands of tourists every year, especially in summer months. The city located on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul is famous for its amazing beaches of white fine sand and incredibly clear water. In Cholpon-Ata you will find guest houses, comfortable hotels and resorts where you can get treatment for various ailments. Sights of the town worthy of attention are the historical and cultural museum-reserve with collections dedicated to the history of the region, nomadic culture and the epic Manas, the Rappoport Avenue of poplar trees, which is 5 km long, and the monument of modern history – the cultural center Ruh Ordo atmosphere of which brings together five of the world religions: Judaism, Buddhism, Catholicism, Orthodoxy and Islam.
A National Park located in Chon-Kemin valley is a unique natural environment with diverse flora and fauna that features beautiful landscapes, from semi-deserts to glaciers. Natural Park occupies an area of 500 hectares, its height gradually increases from 1400 to 2800 m. From the myriad of natural objects found in the valley, 6 species of plants and 21 species of animals, including snow leopards, maral, golden eagle, are listed in the Red Data Book. In the park of Chon-Kemin coniferous and mixed forests grow.
Day 12. Burana Tower-Kegety Waterfall-Bishkek
The Burana Tower is located within a large archaeological and architectural complex near Tokmok, 80 km to the east of Bishkek. This is a unique minaret, built in the 11th century in the medieval town Balasagun, the capital of prosperous Karakhanid State.
Once near the tower stood a mosque and a minaret which was used to call people to pray. The height of the tower is about 25 m, while in the Middle Ages, it was more than 40 m. It is assumed that a part of the tower was destroyed by an earthquake in the 15th century. You can climb the stairs to the top of Burana, where you’ll be able to enjoy wonderful view of the surrounding valley. On the east side of the tower there are the remains of mausoleums. Along the perimeter of the museum complex you can find ancient Turkic stone sculptures.
At the entrance to Kegety gorge you can enjoy a wonderful view of the waterfall coming down a steep cliff. The height of the waterfall is 20 m. It is especially beautiful in the cold season, when the slope of the mountain is covered with ice, and a stream of falling water inside it shimmers and sparkles.
