Grigoriev Gorge (the kyrgyzian name is Chon Ak-Suu) is located on the southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake, 60 kilometers from the city of Cholpon-Ata and 110 km from the town of Balykchy. Valley of the Chon-Ak-Suu descends from Kungei Ala-Too near the village Grigorievka.
Grigoriev Gorge is considered as the most famous attractions in Issyk-Kul. The sweet smell of pine trees, green hillsides, the noise of the mountain river, mountain lakes lure tourists to rest on the Issyk-Kul. In this valley grow beautiful Tien-Shan spruce.
